"Servus – Griaß Di – Hello - Hi & Welcome to Bavaria, my home! Join me in exploring the most beautiful spots around Munich.“
Peter,
Your authentic Bavarian guide from Munich
Me & my tours
Born and raised in southern Bavaraia (the Allgäu) and now living in Munich, I’ll open the door to my home region for you – with stories you won’t find in any guidebook.
I personally lead every tour, always in small groups of no more than six guests. To keep things relaxed and personal from the very first minute, I’ll pick you up right at your hotel.
Alongside the big highlights, I’ll share handpicked extras: quiet spots, hidden corners, and the real Bavaria as it truly is. That way, every tour becomes something special – authentic, personal, and unforgettable.
Here‘s a little sneak peek:

Food tasting at the hidden Eibsee &
a cheese factory visit in Ettal
We kick things off with a hearty Brotzeit tasting up on the Alm — local snacks, fresh flavors, and that laid‑back Alpine vibe to get your taste buds in the right mood for the day.
After that, we head to Lake Eibsee — a turquoise-blue jewel resting at the foot of the Zugspitze. Just an hour and a half from Munich, you’ll step into a landscape painted in shades of blue and green, where the water mirrors the mountains and a touch of light makes everything feel almost unreal — a little wonder shaped by water and light.
To wrap things up, we swing by the little gem of a village called Ettal. Between the mountains, the monastery, and all the local craftsmanship, it’s got serious charm. We’ll drop into a small cheese dairy, check out how the good stuff is made, and then cruise back to Munich.

Neuschwanstein Castle
&
a break at a mountain hut
Out in the picture‑perfect foothills of the Allgäu Alps, Neuschwanstein Castle sits high above the rolling green hills and totally steals the show. It’s only about a 2.5‑hour drive from Munich, but it feels like stepping straight into a real‑life fairytale. One of the highlights is hopping on a horse‑drawn carriage for the ride up — slow, scenic, and honestly the perfect way to soak in the whole vibe.
Then there’s that jaw‑dropping view from Marienbrücke, where the castle looks like it was dropped in from another world. Even seasoned travelers go quiet for a moment.
And since we’re already in the Allgäu, we’ll stop at a cozy mountain hut, take a breather, enjoy the views, and fuel up before heading back. Fresh air, big panoramas, and a little Alpine downtime wrap the day up just right.

2962m - The Zugspitze &
a stop over at lake Eibsee
The Zugspitze, Germany’s highest peak, towers over the Alpine foothills and offers a panorama like no other. Just 1.5 hours from Munich, you can enjoy a day trip filled with alpine highlights. Look forward to a spectacular ride to the top and take in the breathtaking views from the summit platform, stretching across the Alps all the way to Italy and Austria.
You can reach the summit either comfortably by cogwheel train or dramatically by cable car. At the top, a fascinating exhibition tells the story of how the railways and the summit station were built – a unique piece of engineering and cultural history high in the mountains.
Fun fact: At Germany’s highest border crossing, you can savor Bavarian-German cuisine on one side and Tyrolean-Austrian specialties on the other – a culinary experience with a double Alpine perspective.
For the adventurous, there’s an extra challenge: those who dare can climb the rock face up to the summit cross and enjoy the unmatched panoramic view of the Alps from a true mountaineer’s perspective.
And don’t forget: at the foot of the Zugspitze lies the emerald-green Eibsee, a natural gem perfect for a short visit or a leisurely walk along its shores.

Inspiration for
customized tours
Whether you’re planning a private trip with friends or a company looking for a customized event, team‑building activity, incentive program, breakout session or leadership offsite – I create experiences that feel truly made for you.
Bavaria offers an incredible range of possibilities. From the royal palaces of Linderhof and Herrenchiemsee to the historic old towns of Nuremberg, Regensburg, Augsburg, Bamberg, Würzburg and Passau, the region is full of culture and character. Traditional crafts come alive in Glentleiten and Illerbeuren, while the baroque monasteries of Ettal, Andechs, Benediktbeuern, Reutberg and Tegernsee offer a completely different atmosphere. Add charming villages like Oberammergau, Rothenburg ob der Tauber or Eichstätt, alpine landscapes in the Allgäu and the beauty of Bavaria’s lakes – and you have endless ways to shape a memorable day.
I design programs that go far beyond standard tours: meaningful team experiences, inspiring retreats, focused workshops, relaxed offsites, client hospitality or simply a great day out with your group. Every experience is crafted to bring people together, spark curiosity and leave a lasting impression.
And yes – unusual ideas are always welcome. From Bavarian candle‑making in a hotel meeting room to a Viktualienmarkt tour with a traditional Weißwurst breakfast, anything is possible. Creativity has no limits.

Street food tour through
my Munich
I’m passionate about food and deeply in love with the city I call home.
My walk through Munich’s Old Town kicks off at the bustling Viktualienmarkt, where the mix of aromas instantly grabs your attention. From there, we dive into the narrow streets around Marienplatz, combining Bavarian classics with unexpected discoveries that reveal Munich’s unique blend of tradition and modern flavor.
To wrap things up, I’ll give you a personal list of my culinary highlights in Munich, so you can keep enjoying the city’s flavors for days after the tour and explore it on your own.

Boat-tour to Herrenchiemsee castle
Experience an unforgettable day trip from Munich to the “Bavarian Sea” — Lake Chiemsee — including Herrenchiemsee Palace and the charming Fraueninsel.
After leaving Munich, we drive to Prien, where the sparkling waters of Lake Chiemsee are already waiting for us. From there, we hop on a boat to Herreninsel. Its grand palace gardens and the lavish Herrenchiemsee Palace bring the world of King Ludwig II to life. And yes — we’ll tour the inside of the palace, too.
Next, we take the boat over to the peaceful Fraueninsel — a tiny island full of calm, monastery culture, and traditional craftsmanship. If you’d like, you can relax at a local restaurant, enjoy regional specialties, or simply wander around the island at your own pace before we cruise back to Prien and return to Munich.
A day filled with nature, culture, and pure Bavarian joy.

Travel isn’t just about places — it’s about the stories you live and the people you meet. With me, you’ll experience Bavaria in a way that goes far deeper than standard sightseeing. As a passionate traveler myself, I know how much authentic encounters matter. That’s why my tours are designed to connect you with the true Bavarian spirit — lively, welcoming, and unforgettable.

I grew up on a mountain farm in southern Bavaria, in a tiny village 950 meters above sea level. Welcoming guests was part of everyday life — my parents ran “farm holidays,” and hospitality came naturally to me from a young age. Today, my brother continues the tradition with dairy farming, and I carry those same values into my work as a tour guide: personal, heartfelt, and full of the little details that make Bavaria so special.
In my twenties, I moved to Munich — and I’ve called it home ever since. Over the past two decades, I’ve come to love every side of the city: the Oktoberfest, the historic squares, and the hidden corners only locals know. Munich is the perfect starting point to explore the rich variety of Bavaria, and I’m excited to share it with you.
Travel, to me, is more than just seeing new places — it’s a way of life. I’ve explored much of the world, and backpacking remains my favorite way to connect with real people and step outside the tourist bubble. Asia especially has captured my heart: the food, the ocean, and the peaceful warmth of Buddhism make every journey unforgettable.
Let‘s go…
...I'll pick you up directly at the hotel!
Depending on the size of the group by car or a van.
