I'm Peter, a Munich local and Bavarian tour guide. I've lived in the city for around two decades and lead every tour personally.
My aim isn't just to show you the famous sights, but to share the stories, legends and small details that make Munich feel like a real city rather than a checklist of attractions. On a free walking tour through the historic centre, we'll explore Marienplatz, the Frauenkirche, the Munich Residence and hidden corners of the Old Town, with local tips you won't find in a standard guidebook.

As a native of Ost-Allgäu and adopted Munich local, I welcome guests with joy, stories and encounters you won't find in any guidebook. I work as a city guide in Munich and as a guide in Bavarian cuisine, increasingly accompanying international media too.
This Japanese cooperation strengthens my visibility as a contact for TV productions, editorial offices and film teams seeking well-founded content on Bavaria and its food culture.
I personally lead every tour, in small groups of up to ten guests, and pick up guests directly at the hotel for longer tours. Beyond the well-known highlights, I show silent beauties, hidden angles and real Bavaria as it is.
I create tailor-made experiences for private groups, circles of friends, families and companies: team building, incentive programs, break-out sessions, leadership offsites, plus cultural and pleasure tours for international guests.
I use Bavarias diversity for inspiring team days, retreats, workshops, offsites, customer events and programs with lasting impact.
Unusual ideas are welcome too: from a Bavarian scented candle draw in the seminar room to a Viktualienmarkt tour with white sausage breakfast. Creativity has no limits, for private groups and international TV teams alike, seeking an authentic Bavarian atmosphere.

The tours run on a tip basis.
How much should I tip?
Whether you want to tip, is up to you.
Most guests give 10-20 euros up / per person.
Do I need to book?
Yes. Please send me a request at least 24h before.
What happens if it rains?
Once I confirmed your request, the tour takes place.
How big is the group?
I only guide small groups of around 10 people.
Can I bring children?
Yes, of course! Only the witches tour is not suitable for children under 16 years.
Is the tour in English?
I guide a mixed english & german group.
